It’s our great pleasure to celebrate the special day of our Lead Driving Assessor and Instructor James!
Top man, team player and key member of Herts Ability, as echoed by our CEO Sean Lawrence’s comments…
“Congratulations James and happy birthday from all of the team! You have always set an exemplary standard for all of us with your work ethic and dedication. Thank you for everything you have done for our charity – and enjoy your day!”
And here’s a quick word from the birthday boy himself…
“I started working at Herts Ability at the end of 2017, just one day per week. Instantly, I became absorbed and wanted more, and that gradually happened, becoming a full time team member in 2022.
The outstanding work of Herts Ability has been and will continue to be achieved by the most passionate and caring team I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.
From the team that picks up the telephone, to the assessors, the management and of course, our volunteers, including the board of trustees, everyone plays a crucial part, and everyone has the same goal of supporting independence.
As a Lead Assessor and Driving Instructor, I can see the benefits of our work: supporting individual independence and seeing how that can improve someone’s standard of living is the best feeling ever and, those smiles… sometimes, those tears of happiness often leave me speechless and simply sharing the client’s emotion!
Driving is a privilege that some people find difficult to achieve or maintain.
If I can help as many people as possible achieve this and be safe in doing so, that will keep me happy, content and wanting even more!”
P.S. Head here to meet the newest member of the Herts Ability family!
