Say hello to Herts Ability’s new patron, Jonathan Goodwin!

Yes, you’ve read that right, Herts Ability is proud to announce Jonathan Goodwin as our new patron

As a passionate inclusivity and accessibility advocate, Johnathan is the perfect person to help spread Herts Ability’s message on mobility and independence to the people of Beds, Herts, Essex, London and surrounding areas.

“Herts Ability is a fantastic charity which helps people with mobility issues regain their independence behind the wheel. As a patron I really want to spread the word and publicise what Herts Ability does, so more people can benefit from their services.”

Herts Ability CEO Sean Lawrence had this to say on the appointment:

“I am delighted that Jonathan has become a patron for Herts Ability. Being an ex-service user, he understands the valuable work we do supporting people’s independence. Johnathan’s representation will help us amply the services we provide. We are incredibly grateful to have him on board and look forward to working with him.”

Regarding his experience with Herts Ability, Jonathan said:

“I recently took my driving assessment so that I can drive an adapted vehicle using hand controls. What Herts Ability do is extraordinary: They give people their freedom back! I cannot recommend them highly enough! Being able to drive again is like being given wings. When you’re in a wheelchair you’re so reliant on people for the things you can’t do. With the support of Herts Ability, driving can be achievable for a lot of people!”

Thank you to Jonathan Goodwin for supporting our charity – it means more than words!
