This #YouthMentalHealthDay, we’re encouraging young people to build up the courage and confidence they need to achieve their goals and ambitions, and be the best version of themselves they can be! What small act of bravery did you do today?
Also, we’re hoping this post will encourage you to explore and authenticate your feelings at this moment – no matter where you currently score on the mental health checklist.
Listen 👂
Talk 🗣
Support 🤗
Our advice is: reach out. A smiley over a group chat… a photo via email… even just a “how you doing?” is good enough.
Sometimes, one small gesture is all it takes!
Every day: talk, listen, learn – & most importantly – reach out to others; it’s ok not to be ok.
Did you know?
Burnout and other stress-related symptoms affect 91% of respondents to a Deloitte survey, asserting that an “unmanageable amount of stress or frustration negatively impacts the quality of their work.”
So let’s take care of ourselves and help each other to build some healthy habits! 💖
Here’s four top tips that’ll help you relieve stress and revitalise your mental health!
1) Take care of little things 🎨
Respect yourself and your body, and try to make yourself feel better every day. Take time for yourself and focus on your favourite work
2) Exercise daily 🧑🦽
A fit body can fight stress. By keeping the body active, endorphins i.e. good mood gets a boost and you forget about everyday troubles
3) Adopt natural methods 🧘🏽♀️
You can take the help of meditation to relieve stress
4) Be strong 💪
Mental illness is nothing to be ashamed of. It may happen that some people do not understand you, but it does not mean that you are alone!
