We’re celebrating Learning Disability Week from 19th-25th June!

This #LDweek is all about busting the myths and misconceptions about living with a learning disability.

At Herts Ability, we are proud of our work with neurodiverse individuals and how our learner drivers develop through our theory test support sessions and on-road training.

Following an initial assessment designed especially for each individual, advice will be given on the best way to move forward with learning to drive.

Support is available in communications with the DVLA and DVSA which can open the door to start their driving journey.

Herts Ability will develop a bespoke package for all clients to suit their individual needs.

We use the specialist knowledge of our expert DVSA Approved Driving Instructors, supported and endorsed by a team of Occupational Therapists.

As part of this package, we can give theory test support on a 1:1 basis, helping our wonderful learners manage their difficulties and gain the knowledge required.

Here’s what Dan had to say about our services:

“Herts Ability staff are very professional and helpful, very approachable, and I’m grateful for all the theory test and driving support they’ve offered.

They know how to analyse the situation to best identify a person’s needs and work out the best way forward – I would recommend Herts Ability to anyone with learning difficulties.”
