Celebrations are in order for Kayleigh, who absolutely aced her DVSA theory test with flying colours, all thanks to the incredible support from Herts Ability! Read on for the full story…
It all began in the summer of 2023 when Kayleigh embarked on her journey with Lead Assessor James and Occupational Therapist Sarah for an initial driving assessment.
During this assessment, it became clear that Kayleigh faced significant challenges, including high levels of anxiety, difficulty in grasping new concepts, and discomfort in unfamiliar situations.
But Kayleigh didn’t let these obstacles hold her back. With determination and the unwavering support of Herts Ability, she dove headfirst into preparing for her theory test.
Utilising the six sessions generously funded by the Department for Transport, Kayleigh worked closely with Lead Assessor James to develop new coping mechanisms, boost her confidence, and master those all-important test questions.
And the result?
Absolutely phenomenal! Kayleigh’s hard work and dedication have paid off in spades, culminating in a resounding success that has everyone at Herts Ability cheering her on.

Theory Test Support – we’re here to help!
Herts Ability will guide you through every step of the theory test, learning how to interpret the questions and simplifying the troublesome ones, finding a way to help you remember the guidance laid out in the Highway Code and assisting with how to achieve a pass with hazard perception.
Once you have reached the required standard, the Herts Ability staff will help you book a theory test and assist in organising any special requirements on the day.
