A recent Deloitte survey revealed that a staggering 77% of workers have experienced burnout in their jobs! Here’s how to cut out burnout before it occurs! Burnout is a pervasive problem that can have detrimental effects on individuals and their overall performance. It’s essential for companies to acknowledge the impact of burnout and take proactive measures to address it. Here’s your roadmap to avoid burnout at your workplace…

💡Look within: Self-reflection is key. Understand your workload capacity and ability to set boundaries – remember, saying ‘no’ is not a weakness, it’s a strength!

💡Do your homework: Investigate your industry or company of interest. Speak to professionals already working in it to get a realistic idea of the work-life balance it offers

💡Practice self-care: Before you even step into your new role, have a self-care routine in place. This should prioritize sleep, rest, outdoor time, social connections, and physical activity

💡Be vocal: Clear communication with your prospective employer about your limits can significantly reduce your chances of burnout. Never underestimate the power of advocacy!

💡Set your boundaries: Know what you need for a healthy work-life balance and stick to it. You have the power to design your work life to suit your needs
