Herts Ability was recently very proud to showcase its services and skills to four delegates from South Korea…
Health Care Professionals from Yonsei University visited our Harlow outreach centre on Monday 23rd October, to better understand the services provided by Herts Ability and Driving Mobility.
They were given a warm welcome by our team: Lead Occupational Therapist Katie, Lead Assessor James and Herts Ability’s brand new OT, Charis.
Programmed in were presentations regarding the physical aspects of driving, adaptations and the type of clients that seek support from Herts Ability.
Following a full and hearty lunch, the delegates tried some of the typical adaptations used by Herts Ability and some more Hi-Tech solutions offered with our fully loaded, wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV).
Did you know? 🤔
Currently, in South Korea, people living with a disability do not have the same level of independence as we do here in the UK. With this in mind, Yonsei University is researching ways of offering more support.
What better way than visiting the UK and Herts Ability?
Thanks to everyone for making this such a fantastic day!
