A big Herts Ability ‘Hello’ to our new Lead Occupational Therapist, Linda

We are thrilled to introduce you to our new Lead Occupational Therapist, Linda! Here’s a fun fact for starters: Linda originally hails from Gothenburg, Sweden, but she’s called the UK home since 1998!

Also, did you know that she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Brunel University in 2009! Since then, she has thrived in various roles within this fulfilling field. Joining the Herts Ability team in March this year, Linda has relished every moment. She loves meeting diverse individuals daily and helping them achieve independence, whether through driving or other community access methods.

Our team at Herts Ability is a dedicated and compassionate group, featuring Approved Driver Instructors (ADIs), Occupational Therapists, and an invaluable admin support team. Even when delivering tough news, we ensure it’s done with empathy and care.

Outside of work, Linda enjoys traveling, reading, gardening, and cooking. She treasures time with her family and their two charming Maine Coon cats, Daisy and William.

Driving has always been a passion for Linda, offering her a sense of freedom and independence. After passing her driving test in Sweden, she bravely tackled driving on the left side of the road when she moved to the UK!

Linda feels incredibly fortunate to be part of the Herts Ability team and deeply appreciates the warm welcome she’s received. She’s eager to continue the great work alongside everyone and contribute to our shared mission!
