𣠓Rosie first started learning with a left foot accelerator. After several lessons, she realised this was not suitable and came to Herts Ability for advice on different control systems.
She appeared physically able to use push/pull hand controls, and so started taking lessons at Herts Ability with this system.
It took almost a year of regular lessons plus practice in Rosieâs own Motability car.
Rosie kept on improving and improving until she was able to pass her test at the first attempt in Stevenage.
Rosie always applied herself well in lessons and built on what she had learnt previously.
Her legendary sense of non-direction even improved a bit too!
It fills me with happiness to see people like Rosie go through the system and gain their independence.
Rosie will now be able to drive herself to and from university every day.
Being independently mobile will definitely open up more possibilities for Rosie!”
